PowerPoint Game Samples

PLEASE READ: Bad news - Microsoft has screwed up PPT 2007 so badly that I give up trying to make my games work in that version!  SORRY!  They do, however, work for PowerPoint versions 97, 2000, 2002 (XP) and 2003.  Good News - I have removed the password to the VBA code, so have a blast!  These games are free to use.  If you need custom programming work in PPT, my services are available for a fee.
This first PowerPoint Game is based on the game Family Feud. It consists of a five-question, five-choice presentation and a ten-question, five-choice presentation.  All you have to do is to select the existing text and type in your questions, answers, and point values.  You can enter team names and this game keeps track of your scores.  If you would like to learn more, please feel free to contact PTT, Inc. at info@pttinc.com.

If nothing works when you click the START button, you will need to change your macro security to MEDIUM.  Open PowerPoint, click "Tools", "Macro", "Security", change it to MEDIUM, close PowerPoint (so it recognizes this change), then re-open the file and click "Enable macros".

To download the zipped game file, right click the link provided and select "Save Target as" - CLICK HERE

NOTE: This file uses VBA, and therefore will not work with the PPT Viewer. You MUST have PowerPoint on the target computer! This file has been verified to be virus-free when loaded on our web site. PTT, Inc. shall not be held responsible for any problems you incur!

PowerPoint Demonstration

This second PowerPoint Game is an excellent review tool and is based on the game Jeopardy. This DEMO consists of one Round. You have the ability to enter team/player names, keep automatic scoring, as well as change scores if an answer is protested or a mistake made. The zipped file below consists of PowerPoint presentation files for a Two-Team and Three-Team game and a "readme.txt" file. The "readme" file provides in-depth information on how to set up the game to be run as well as how to run it. We hope you like this sample file. Hopefully it will shed a whole new light on the capabilities of PowerPoint.
